Hubby V | 2007
In 2007 Hubby invited artists, friends, and associates to Dan Hug Gallery to have their pictures taken within an exaggerated corner backdrop inspired by Irving Penn. 20 'models' wore garments of Hubby's and sat together on a piece of red carpet in the middle of the gallery on chairs they'd each brought from home; each had a disposal camera and were instructed to take pictures of each other throughout the night. A number of musical acts performed, followed by a DJ set by Tif Sigfrids and Mari Eastman. The images generated from both activities have become a part of my lasting and continued celebration of this community and its personalities.
